2019 Goal: 50,000 Rolls
Our slogan is simple, “it’s an uncommon request but a very common need.” Every year, for nearly four decades, Pueblo Cooperative Care Center hosts its annual Toilet Paper Challenge to collect toilet paper for distribution in our Health and Hygiene program. Churches, businesses and other organizations in Pueblo County are challenged to compete against each other in collecting as many rolls of toilet paper as they can to support this program. There are two Divisions to compete in, the “Church Championship Division” which is for faith-based churches and organizations, and the “Business Championship Division” for small and large businesses, civic organizations or groups (schools, scouts, youth groups, etc.). The dates for the annual Toilet Paper Challenge vary each year, but it always starts in February and ends in March. We find that it helps to be regular in certain areas. Participants are encouraged to use promotional materials to support their event to improve Toilet Paper Challenge success. We always stress that the competition will be fierce and entrants should plan their Toilet Paper Challenge exceptionally well. Entrants should set an achievable goal, identify the path for its success and think BIG.
The participant in each division that collects the most toilet paper rolls will receive the coveted “Porta-Roll Traveling Trophy” which can be displayed for one full year. We recognize entrants on our website and we encourage everyone to be creative and have fun with this event. But even if you don’t win, or you don’t have too many rolls in the final count, you are a Community Champion for supporting this cause. Every single roll of toilet paper makes a difference to someone who doesn’t have any! To keep in contact with Pueblo Cooperative Center during the competition, our contact email address for the Toilet Paper Challenge is email@example.com. When the Toilet Paper Challenge is over, Pueblo Cooperative Care Center will pick up your accumulated rolls of toilet paper to make it a comfortable experience. Just email or call us to schedule a pickup date and time. Results from the annual Toilet Paper Challenge will be reported on our website and participants will receive our annual Toilet Paper Challenge letter reviewing the final results. You really don’t want to miss the opportunity to read this legendary masterpiece! We always look forward to a great response from this event and our community has a lot of fun in the process.
Call us for ideas because we have a lot of them. You need to know however that participants are NOT ALLOWED to call Pueblo Cooperative Care Center to see how well the competition is doing. The results are flushed out in the end, when all movements are over. Thank you for supporting Pueblo Cooperative Care Center and Pueblo County. We strive to do something every day that brings people closer to a better tomorrow – we make a difference!
