On May 6th, Pueblo Cooperative Care Center received 12 hygiene sacks for homeless clients from “Girl’s On the Run!” and Cedar Ridge Elementary School. Pictured here is Michelle Heusel, a community champion for the homeless and a representative for “Girl’s On the Run!” These effort reach far beyond the hygiene products they contributed as it helps to restore self-esteem and dignity to homeless recipients. This is a common problem that homeless communities experience and this group elevated themselves in the eyes of Pueblo Cooperative Care Center and our community. Thank you “Girl’s On the Run!” for helping us to meet our mission objectives and for being the caring individuals that you are! You make Pueblo County proud.
