For their fourth consecutive year, Pueblo Bikers United proved that they have a heart for supporting Pueblo County children. Recently holding their 4th Annual “80’s Party Food Drive” to support Pueblo Cooperative Care Center’s Power-Up Kidz Sack program, they rode in with over 1,314 pounds of food from the event along with a donation of $400.00. Attendees either paid $5.00 to gain entry, or they brought in Power-Up Kidz Sack treats to support this cause. These items offer great help as Pueblo Cooperative Care Center is gearing up to distribute 2,500 Power-Up Kidz Sacks in 2019. The evening was filled with fun and laughter while DJ Superstar Rich Palomar kept the evening full of excitement.
Pueblo Bikers United continue to reflect their belief that bikers don’t become friends, they become family. Their charity, and their act of giving back to our community is not new to them and it isn’t any different to them as their need to put oil and gasoline into their bikes. We thank you Pueblo Bikers United for making such a huge difference to Pueblo Cooperative Care Center, with special thanks to J. T. and Ramona (Munchie) Trujillo, and Monica Martinez for continuing to ride into history for the benefit of Pueblo County youth.
