Rocky Mountain Realty Brings Easter Blessings

As they have done for many years, Rocky Mountain Realty conducted another Easter food drive to help provide meals to neighbors in need. Shawn Martinez (Owner, Broker and Realtor) and the corps of real estate brokers at Rocky Mountain Realty know and understand why food drives like this are so important! This Easter season they collected more than 125 pounds of perishable and non-perishables foods, hams, potatoes, vegetables, Easter eggs and candies which were donated to Pueblo Cooperative Care Center for distribution. This effort provides critical foods for families with children, and it helps to bring joy to the season. This effort alone will impact more than 10 families at a time when they need help the most!

Rocky Mountain Realty (www.rockymountainrealty.biz) meets real estate needs in southern Colorado but they know the importance of acknowledging that there are children in our communities who are food insecure. Shawn Martinez stated “with so many people in our community needing help, it is essential that we do whatever we can to try and offer assistance.” Wayne Hunter (Broker Associate and Realtor) added “no single person in our community should have a lack of nutritional foods and it is a privilege to be a part of the solution.” Heidi Papale (Office Manager) coordinated the food drive for Rocky Mountain Realty and noted “we can’t solve the problem, but we can all help. It will take more than a food drive like this to solve a problem as prevalent as hunger and food insecurity, but we can all do something to provide a helping hand.”

The people at Rocky Mountain Realty truly are true Community Champions and we thank you for making a difference!
