Ready for Halloween

At Pueblo Cooperative Care Center we are getting ready for another “SPOOKTACULAR” HALLOWEEN. We have received numerous donations of Halloween costumes for children and adults, and they are being distributed on a first-come, first-served basis only. Shown above are some examples of our spirit-filled clothing, presented by our volunteers Beverly, Lucille and BJ.  For thousands of children across Pueblo County the Halloween tradition of wearing costumes or giving and receiving candy while trick-or-treating are anything but magical.  For many of our children, Halloween costumes and candy do not make the list of needed essentials in family budgets. Halloween trunk-or-treats, school carnivals and costume events, trick-or-treating can be challenging enough, and the possibility of being a princess or a super hero for a day all but disappears when families do not have candy to distribute or costumes to wear. Pueblo Cooperative Care Center is a resource that truly makes a difference in the lives of people within our community as we are helping Pueblo County residents to regain their imagination. We welcome your donations of new and gently used Halloween costumes and candy and we sincerely thank you for your support.
