Pueblo Cooperative Care Center welcomes Rev. Dr. Kathleen Bishop (Delray Beach, FL) and Purdue University. Purdue's Civic Engagement and Leadership Development Office has asked faculty, staff and students to participate in “Make a Difference Day” on October 27th. This leadership and professional development initiative is designed for “Leading the World Forward.” Each year, volunteers travel throughout the nation to work on humanitarian projects and this year’s focus is entitled “Community Action” to make a difference where it is needed most in local communities. Dr. Bishop selected Pueblo Cooperative Care Center for her contribution of time, energy and resources and has been volunteering at Pueblo Cooperative Care Center since September. Dr. Bishop plans to continue supporting Pueblo Cooperative Care Center as long as she is in Southern Colorado assisting family members. Dr. Bishop works in the Purdue University Global online community and is able to perform her job requirements anywhere in the world where there is a reliable internet connection. We are grateful and appreciative of Dr. Bishop’s efforts and Purdue University Global in helping us to do something every day that brings people closer to a better tomorrow…make a difference.
